Just been in for lunch. Proper old school village butty/bakery shop. Good prices, lady behind the counter is straight up and can have a good laugh. Maybe not for everyone but places like this are dying out. Thanks for dinner will be back 🤟🏼

When and had the bavarian slice or vanilla slice and carrot cake, they tasted lovely will definitely go again.

We went to the Village Bakery on the off chance whilst working in Bradford. And what can i say the Food was Amazing, although it was only a ham salad it was super fresh and super tasty. And to be greeted by a ginger goddess on arrival was fantastic. Super Friendly. Highly recommend.

So sorry I Had to cancel my order on just eat today, as just eat didn't have the drivers available to deliver to us at dinnertime. Food from here is absolutely excellent. Service from just eat absolutely appalling today and no way to give service.

The tuna sandwich was amazing. I haven't had such a tasty and filling tuna sandwich for a very reasonable price in a very long time. This place was recommended to me. The lovely lady who served me was very understanding of my religious beliefs and assured me there was no cross contamination with non halal produce, washed her hands and even used a different side of the worktop to prepare my food on which I really appreciated. I wouldn't say I'm a regular however I have been going in for the past 5 years from time to time. Every visit I'm welcomed with friendly banter and walk away with a great sandwich and usually a coconut slice (which is devine). Keep up the good work and don't change 💪💪🏆🏆

I’m a school kid from across the road and both lisa and Nicola are so lovely and can have a great laugh. Food is amazing too. Highly recommended it.

The vintaged Village bakery, the taste of everything is absolutely delicious, classic and also brings back childhood memories. Originally it was 2 doors up when I was a child, but I’m so glad the daughter is running this place and hope it stays this way.
I believe Hanson bakery(closed down now) on Duckworth lane is a relative of Village bakery as the food taste the just same with a vintage lovely taste.
From pasties, sandwiches, jackets potato’s and many more!! I absolutely love it,.

I am a regular at the village bakery the sandwiches are delicious and the hot food is always cooked to my liking.plenty of choice in fillings,and pies, and also the cake selection I would certainly recommend the village bakery to anyone and the staff are very friendly .
